Welfare Investigator

What you’ll be doing

As a Welfare Investigator, you’ll respond to welfare reports by visiting locations, assessing conditions, and recommending actions. You’ll work closely with the Welfare Report Coordinator and collaborate with authorities and veterinary professionals when necessary.

• A strong understanding of parrot welfare and behaviour.
• The ability to handle sensitive and potentially distressing situations with professionalism.
• Strong investigative and interviewing skills.
• Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
• Knowledge of welfare policies and collaboration with authorities.
• Availability to attend to ad hoc investigation needs, depending on the complexity and volume of cases.
