Event Volunteer

What you’ll be doing

As a Front End Event Volunteer, you’ll interact directly with event participants, providing information, assistance, and ensuring they have a great experience. You’ll handle on-the-spot queries, help resolve any issues, and represent PSS with professionalism and enthusiasm.

• Friendly and confident communicators.
• Passionate about engaging with the public and promoting parrot welfare.

We’re looking for someone who has

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults.
• Experience in customer service, teaching, or public-facing roles (preferred but not mandatory).
• A good understanding of parrot welfare will be required, to guide and interact with booth visitors.
• Professionalism to be the face of PSS at events and self-confidence to interact and network with VIPs occasionally
• Availability to be present at at least 2 events per year (4-8 hours per event, usually on weekends).
