Volunteer Engagement & Retention Specialist

What you’ll be doing

As the Volunteer Engagement & Retention Specialist, you’ll create and implement strategies to keep volunteers motivated, satisfied, and committed to their roles. You’ll organise volunteer recognition programs, manage communication channels, and build a sense of community among volunteers, ensuring they feel connected to PSS’s mission and fostering long-term involvement.

• Experience in volunteer engagement or human resources.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to develop and implement volunteer retention strategies.
• Experience in organising recognition programs and events.
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with and motivate volunteers.
• Availability for ad hoc brainstorming and executing of recognition events or campaigns.
