Volunteer Recruitment Specialist

What you’ll be doing

As the Volunteer Recruitment Specialist, you’ll focus on attracting new volunteers who are passionate about parrot welfare. You’ll develop recruitment strategies, manage outreach efforts, and execute the application and selection process. Your role is key in ensuring that a diverse group of volunteers joins PSS and that their skills and interests are matched to appropriate roles.

We’re looking for someone who has

• Experience in recruitment, preferably within a nonprofit or volunteer context.
• Strong understanding of volunteer roles and requirements.
• Excellent outreach and networking skills.
• The ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
• Strong organisational skills to manage the application and selection process.
• Approximately 4 hours per week to contribute depending on the volume of signups, with flexibility during recruitment drives.
