What Others Say About Us
I adopted a love bird from them, he has some mites issue, PSS didn't just pass the bird to me but ensure that his mites issues were cleared before letting me adopt it.
The bird now has a companion and he is my love and family!
The adoption process was meticulous and PSS provided an abundance of resources and support, so fret not if you’re a beginner to bird-keeping. Even after adopting dopey, i still receive regular check ins on dopeys wellbeing to make sure he is healthy and content.
Apart from adopting from PSS, I also started fostering and volunteering with them and my journey has been nothing short of delightful. Fostering has been extremely rewarding as you get to witness how with plenty of love and care, a once terrified parrot can too be capable of giving lots of love. In addition, going behind the scenes while volunteering also gives you a taste of what it’s like to manage a non profit animal welfare society. Not many realize what it takes to manage an animal welfare group with limited funding and manpower. Its easy to criticize, but putting yourself in others shoes makes you see that balancing your work/school life, as well as managing a society really isn't an easy feat.
Although PSS is just starting to embark on their mission, i am filled with optimism that slowly but surely, they can make an impact and improve the life of companion parrots in singapore
