Fosterer

What you’ll be doing

As a Fosterer, you’ll provide temporary care for parrots in need, ensuring they have a safe and nurturing environment while they wait for adoption. You’ll monitor their health, socialise them, and work with the fostering team to meet their needs.

Great for people who are

• Compassionate and patient with animals in transition.
• Keen to provide hands-on care and support for parrots.
• Willing to learn and stay updated on best practices in parrot care.

We’re looking for someone who has

• A genuine care and compassion for parrots.
• The ability to provide daily care, including feeding, socialisation, and medical attention.
• Good observational skills to monitor health and behaviour.
• Willingness to attend training sessions and work closely with the fostering team.
• Flexibility to spend time with the parrot daily, with additional time as needed for training and medical care.
