What you’ll be doing
As the Community Manager (Adoption), you’ll support adopters after the adoption process, ensuring they have the resources and advice they need. You’ll keep in touch with adopters, track the progress of adopted parrots for six months, organise community events, and gather feedback to improve the adoption experience.
Great for people who are
- Empathetic and enjoy building meaningful relationships.
- Organised and good at juggling multiple tasks.
- Experienced in community engagement or customer service (but enthusiasm works too!).
We’re looking for someone who has
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with adopters.
- Organisational skills to manage events and initiatives.
- The ability to collect and analyse feedback to improve programs.
- Knowledge of parrot care and behaviour (or a willingness to proactively learn).
- Empathy and an understanding approach to adopters’ needs.
- Approximately 1 hour daily to contribute to this role, with occasional events or meetings.
