Educator

What you’ll be doing

As an Educator, you’ll deliver engaging educational content through workshops, webinars, and training sessions. You’ll mentor learners, stay updated on best practices in parrot care, and collaborate with the education team to refine and develop impactful content that supports PSS’s mission.

Great for people who are

• Experienced in teaching or training, especially in animal welfare or related fields.
• Confident public speakers who enjoy mentoring and guiding others.
• Passionate about parrot welfare and education.

We’re looking for someone who has

• Strong teaching or training experience.
• Excellent public speaking and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of parrot welfare and care (or a willingness to learn quickly).
• The ability to mentor and support learners effectively.
• A commitment to continuous professional development.
• Availability for ad hoc events and outreach activities on weekdays or weekends, with additional time for training sessions and independent learning.
